About the JournalAims and Scope
The Asian Journal of Gerontology and Geriatrics (AJGG) is the official joint publication of The Hong Kong Geriatrics Society and Hong Kong Association of Gerontology. The AJGG publishes peer-reviewed English and Chinese articles representing the full range of medical, social, and rehabilitation sciences related to older people. The AJGG is committed to the improvement of practice, extension of knowledge, as well as development, promotion and dissemination of research findings in very broad fields of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine. It also aims at providing linkages of regional and international research, education, and practice.
The AJGG is published two times a year, in June and December. The circulation volume is more than 2,000 copies, distributed locally to members of the two co-publishing organizations, physicians, physiotherapists, social scientists, and all private and public hospitals, nursing schools and tertiary education institutions. The AJGG is also distributed electronically to international Geriatrics organizations, Gerontology organizations, and renowned geriatricians and social scientists in Gerontology.

The AJGG is indexed in SCOPUS and EMcare.
Open Access Policy
The AJGG is fully Open Access.
Copyright Policy
Copyright of all articles is transferred to the AJGG on acceptance for publication.

Some advertising revenue is derived from commercial sources, but advertisers have no influence on editorial decisions.
